Place & Origins
At Vinos Jeromín, winemaking is rooted in the agricultural history of Villarejo de Salvanés, a town long associated with vineyard cultivation in southeast Madrid. The winery was founded in 1956 by Gregorio Martínez García and has remained in the hands of the Martínez family since its establishment.
From its early years, the bodega combined local grape growing with the gradual consolidation of production facilities, reflecting the broader evolution of family wineries in the region during the mid-20th century.
Family & Continuity

Today, winemaking at Vinos Jeromín continues under family ownership, with Manuel Martínez Chacón responsible for enology. The winery operates modern production and aging facilities while maintaining strong ties to its surrounding vineyards and village context.
Its development reflects continuity rather than rupture, with successive generations adapting technical processes while preserving the agricultural and territorial foundations on which the winery was built.

Winemaking Philosophy

Vinos Jeromín represents a measured, modern Madrid style - wines that are technically clean, transparent, and approachable, without abandoning regional identity. Fermentations are controlled and precise. Aging is carried out primarily in oak barrels, chosen for balance rather than dominance, allowing fruit and varietal character to remain at the center.
Technology here is a tool, not a statement. The objective is clarity, reliability, and expression - wines that communicate where they come from without excess interpretation.
